Why are you a teacher?: Being a teacher lets me take part in shaping the next generation and impart life lessons on all that walk through my classroom door.

Position: Orange Group Lead Teacher

Qualification:  NQF Level 4

Experience in ECD: I have 2 years experience working in the ECD sector with children from birth to 5 years of age

Why are you a teacher?: I love being around children of all ages, seeing how they grow into such amazing little individuals, each with their own personalities, likes and dislikes.

Unique special talent: I bake and cook, that’s my unique talent. I love playing with the little ones and engage in conversations with them. It’s always nice to listen to this little dreamers

Position: Assistant Orange Group Teacher

Qualification: NQF 5 Certificate in ECD

Birthday: 14th July

Experience in ECD: This is my first experience after my completing studies.

Why are you a teacher?: Because I want to show the young ones that love is not only found at home but also at school. I am here to serve/offer that as a teacher while brightening their future.

Unique special talent: Singing and playing netball.

Position: Lead Red Group Teacher

Qualification: ECD and NQF 4 certification

 Experience in ECD: I have over 5 years of childcare experience which includes au pairing and teaching. 

Why are you a teacher?: Teaching is my lifelong passion and the lessons I learn from each child is invaluable and provides never ending teaching moments.

Unique special talent: Swimming, hockey, gymnastics, Excellent communication, innovative and adaptability are special talents of mine

Position: Assistant Red Group Teacher

Qualification: Certificate in administration management

Birthday: 25 January

 Experience in ECD: I have classroom, administration, cooking experience and now have the privledge of working as an assistant teacher in Red Group

Why are you a teacher?: I have immense patience and drive for children. I enjoy seeing them succeed and do well.

Position: Lead Yellow Group Teacher

Experience in ECD: From my earliest memory, I worked with my mom in a day care facility. I have worked in many different school with various age groups through my studies and the years.

Why are you a teacher?: 

Growing up with a family of teachers,  I developed a love and passion for children and a diverse understanding of teaching. 

Unique special talent:  I have a way of getting to know children that is different and specialised.

Position: Yellow Group Assistance Teacher

Qualification:  Child minding certificate

Birthday:  25 October

Experience in ECD:  I have worked with children for the past 8 years. I have had the opportunity to work with my different age groups throughout these years. I am able to facilitate many different activities drawing the outcomes and experiences of the children

Why are you a teacher?: I have fallen in love with getting to know the emotional, physical and social development of a children directly, is one of many reasons that I became the teacher I am today

Unique special talent:  I find my strengths in working with a team, and have a unique talent of uplifting others through my many skills such as communication

Position: Green Group Lead Teacher

Experience in ECD:  I have over 15 years of educational experience with children. I have been afforded the opportunities to work in different environments related to not only children but other areas. 

Why are you a teacher?: I have known since a very young age that I have wanted to work with children. It brings enrichment and unconditional love to my life, as children have a unique and special energy that they bring to me

Unique special talent:  I have an passion and enjpyment for singing and I love bringing this to my children in my classroom!

Experience in ECD: I have been working with children for the past 15 years. I have had the opportunity to work with different age groups, catering to their specific needs.

Why are you a teacher?: I have passion and desire to educate and care for children of all ages. I like to learn about children’s individual passions and dreams as they are always so unique.

Experience in ECD: I have been working with children for over 10 years in different capacities

Why are you a teacher?: I want to ensure that all children who pass through my classroom, get the best start to their learning experience and journey. I enjoy the responsibilities of keeping children safe

Unique special talent:  I have a passion for the creative arts and love to get my hands dirty to create a memorable pieces of art.

Position: Assistant Blue Group Teacher

Qualification: NQF6 in Early Childhood Education

Experience in ECD:  14 years working with children in ECD.

Why are you a teacher?: I’ve always had the love and passion of becoming a teacher. I have a way of creating a welcoming environment for children and building a nurturing relationship in the classroom where feel a children sense of belonging.

Qualification: Matric

Experience in ECD: From 2006, I have been actively involved in all forms of classroom management and care and have now happily found my home in cooking and hygiene.

Why do you like cooking/ working with children?: I have always had a passion and drive for young children, and I never want them to experience a world without education.
